Calling on Everyday Heroes to Promote the Blood Donor App
This project was part of my Content Writing Certificate program at School of Visual Concepts (September 2017 – December 2018.)
Problem: It’s difficult to get people to notice, much less click on, Red Cross blood donation requests via email boxes and social media feeds. If an image is actually viewed, there’s an assumption that the related content will be a glorified form letter.
Solution: To promote the Red Cross’ latest app, create a vibrant theme based on the iconography of comic books and superhero films. Emphasize that donors and volunteers who assist the Red Cross in times of tragedies are the ones with super-human strength.
